The Cambridge Qt X 800 control module, an 8-zone sound masking generator, controller, band equalizer and amplifier, is designed specifically for the plenum space and requires PoE+ power supply; includes support for AVB media networks, with two auxiliary audio inputs to allow for distribution of audio from paging controllers and/or (background) music players.
The Qt X 800 controls sound masking speakers/emitters in both direct-field and indirect (in-plenum) installationsâor a mix of both. Each of the eight amplified output speakers/emitters can be independently adjusted for masking and aux audio levels and spectra.
When multiple Qt X controllers are included in a single system, audio inputs can be shared across all controllers via AVB.
