The Desono DX-S5-UB surface mount loudspeakers provide high efficiency, high output, high intelligibility and low distortion in an attractive design. These loudspeakers install quickly and have the same components and voicing as the DX ceiling loudspeakers. The DX surface mount loudspeakers are equipped with a built-in 70 V/100 V autoformer and low impedance input.
Easily outperforming loudspeakers of a larger size format, the DX-S5-UB is ideal for installations where space is a premium. With a modern appearance that merges well in most environments, combined with weather-resistant capability suitable for direct outdoor use, the DX-S5 can be used in a wide variety of speech and music applications.
Installation is simple and flexible with Biamp’s low-profile U-Bracket. The U-Bracket is a low profile powder-coated Marine Grade aluminum design that allows the unit to be connected to a center suspension post or against the wall, ceiling, or other flat surface. It can also be mounted to a variety of third party stand and pole adapters. The DX-S5-UB / DX-S8-UB (models with the U-Bracket) also include the ClickPlug with an integrated gland nut for weather-resistant applications. The U-Brackets are theft and tamper resistant.
